The Army Fight Team emerged victorious from the Cowboy Up Martial Arts Tournament, with two of our remarkable athletes seizing the spotlight with their exceptional performances. Donovan Horvat, an 11-year-old male black belt, and Serafina Fish, a 16-year-old female black belt, showcased unparalleled skill, determination, and sportsmanship, earning accolades that truly exemplify the spirit of martial arts.

Donovan Horvat: A Rising Star

Donovan Horvat, at just 11 years old, proved to be a force to be reckoned with, boasting a perfect tournament record and leaving a trail of triumph in his wake. His victories include:

  • Overall grand champion in boys 10-11 point sparring tall vs short

  • First place in boys 10-11 point sparring tall division

  • First place in boys 10-11 open weight point sparring

  • First place in boys 11 and under continuous sparring

  • First place in boys 11 and under double elimination point sparring
